Here are a few fun facts about the history of Effingham Sewer Service.
Effingham Sewer Service is owned by Charles Stigers.
In the 70’s, Chuck works part-time for a guy who was cleaning a few sewer lines and pumping septic tanks.
1979 - Chuck buys the business.
1980 - Chuck incorporates the business.
Chuck’s wife Toni answers the phone and schedules the service calls.
Early 80’s - Portable toilets are added to the list of services provided.
1983 - Effingham Sewer Service is instrumental in helping to rebuild the Beecher City sewer system.
Late 80’s - the industrial side of the business grows by providing portable toilets and fly ash vacuuming for CIPS at the Newton Power Plant.
Effingham Sewer Service is under contract providing services for the Marathon Oil Company refinery in Robinson since 1995.
Effingham Sewer Service has always been family-owned and family-operated!
